Returning for another year the 2010 Fifa Interactive World Cup will kick off November 1st.
Finalists will be determined from a series of on and offline matches. This year however, EA and Fifa have divided the matches in to 6 seasons spanning for 25 days each. The first and second place finishers of these seasons will advance to the final draw.
Matt Bilbey, VP of Football at EA Sports said ” the tournament has gone from strength to strength and to have over 775,000 entrants last year was a true testament to the status the tournament now enjoys within the football fan community.”
A cash prize of $20,000 (USD) will be crowned to the overall winner sometime after the seasons finish in April next year. Check out the official website for the FIWC here.
